9th Annual Michigan Cask Ale Festival - Ashley's Westland

Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

2016 Michigan Cask Festival

The region's largest cask ale festival - "The craft beer of craft beer." Over 25 casks of real ale from around the country available all at one time. Many are one-of-kind craft beers only available at this festival. This year no tokens needed! You'll be able to sample all beers, subject to availability.

The Michigan Cask Ale Festival showcases a third kind of craft beer beyond conventional draft and bottle: cask ale, also known as real ale. With the explosion of craft beer, the Wall Street Journal recently wrote about why cask beers are so special. This is the only festival they mentioned.

The list of beers is still developing. Brewers include: Bell's, Founders, Short's, Jolly Pumpkin, Vivant, Green Flash, Rockford, Tapistry, Latitude 42, Odd Sides, Lagunitas, Greenbush, Rogue. The list goes on. Visit the Festival's web-site and check updates on Facebook

Located in the beer garden next to Ashley's Westland.
