1554
4 New Belgium Brewing Born of a flood and centuries-old Belgian text, 1554 Black Lager uses a lager yeast strain and dark chocolaty malts to redefine what dark beer can be. In 1997, a Fort Collins flood destroyed the original recipe our researcher, Phil Benstein, found in the library. So Phil and brewmaster, Peter Bouckaert, traveled to Belgium to retrieve this unique style lost to the ages. Their first challenge was deciphering antiquated script and outdated units of measurement, but trial and error (and many months of in-house sampling) culminated in 1554, a highly quaffable dark beer with a moderate body and mouthfeel. Starts bitter chocolate with bright acidity, roasty and toasty, sweetness to round it out sweet/spicy, rooty, peppery undertones, lingering fruit acidity,

3rd & Lager
4 Founders Combines two of the brewers' favorite hop varieties to create a lager with great tropical aroma and flavor, consisting of pineapple, mango and papaya.
517 Pilsner
3 Ellison Brewery and Spirts Tipping our hat to the hard working men and women in the 517. A unique Mid-Michigan take on a classic German Lager. This beer is golden in color with a dry, crisp finish.
Alpine Spring
2 Boston Beer Company lpine Spring features a unique blend of lager attributes: the balanced maltiness and hoppiness of a Helles, the smoothness and slightly higher alcohol of a traditional spring bock, and the unfiltered appearance of a Kellerbier. The beer is brewed with Tettnang Noble hops to add a unique, bright orange-citrusy aroma and flavor.
Ambidextrous Ale #5 Sticke Alt
4 Left Hand Brewing This beautiful German style stands out from the crowd with mahogany colored body and a creamy off-white head. The aromas sing of burnt sugar, bread crust, and rose water. The flavor of this beer has sweet notes of biscuit malts and buchholz.
Amstel Light
1 Amstel Brouwerij Great light beer without the watery feel and taste of popular light beers. Excellent body and flavor. Not too heavy but still has a good rich taste.
Andygator
5 Abita Abita Andygator®, a creature of the swamp, is a unique, high-gravity brew made with pale malt, German lager yeast, and German Perle hops. Unlike other high-gravity brews, Andygator® is fermented to a dry finish with a slightly sweet flavor and subtle fruit aroma. Reaching an alcohol strength of 8% by volume, it is a Helles Dopplebock.
Arbor Brewing Oktoberfest Bier
4 Arbor Brewing Company A beautiful reddish-orange lager with a nice foamy white head. Perfectly balanced with a complex and spicy hop character that is delicately offset by sweet malts, so that both flavors shine through but neither dominates the other
Around The Corner
3 Wolverine State Brewing Co Strawberry Milkshake lactose 6 different hops strawberry vanilla
Atwater Lager
3 Atwater Brewery Refreshing Munich-style Helles Lager–made in the Detroit tradition of German-Style lagers– is available in the can.
Au Sable
4 Wolverine State Brewing Co We brewed Au Sable with a blend of three different Canadian base malts and over 20% Rye Malt. The use of rye will give the lager a nice spicy character and bite that plays well with the hops. We hopped Au Sable with Warrior which lends sturdy bitterness with mild hop flavor, Falconer’s Flight which is a blend of American hops, then rounded out the hop aroma in the Brewhouse with Cascade & Chinook which are the two main hops in Gulo IPL.
Ayinger Oktober Fest-Marzen
3 Ayinger Rich, golden color. Slightly sweet, malty nose. Medium to big body and alcohol. Soft dryness from long maturation.
Barenmarder
3 Wolvering State Brewing Co Delicate Pils malt profile with distinct noble hop character.
Barista Coffee Lager
4 Wolverine State Brewing Co A collobration brew with Ann Arbor’s RoosRoast featuring locally roasted Colombian coffee. Wolverine Brewer Karl Hinburn, once in the coffee roasting business himself, spearheaded the coffee side of this beer, finally selecting a Colombian Excelso bean roasted at Roos. Part beer, part coffee, what’s not to love?
Basement Fire
4 Wolverine State Brewing Co A smoked pepper lager, this beer is straightforward and totally in your face, a supremely drinkable smoked beer. We chose cherry smoked malt to give the Basement Fire its subtle smoky flavor and upfront smoky aroma and when that didn’t seem like enough we added a pound of butcher’s block pepper to the brew kettle. And then as the beer conditioned we wanted more! So we decided to age the nearly finished lager on chipotle peppers along with white, black, and red peppercorns. We sampled the beer twice every day to make sure we got it right. Man, that’s a smoky and peppery beer!
Bavik Pils
2 Bavik Very light color with a fine white head. The hop bitterness introduced already in the aroma, finishes the palate.
Beard of Zeus
4 Short's Beard of Zeus is a super hoppy India style Pale Lager. In the original recipe, we heavily hopped the final runnings of a Peaches and Créme batch with Zeus hops and then lagered it. Small amounts of bitter orange peel was added to provide subtle sweet flavors to the beer and enhance the aromas of the Zeus hops.
Beer Me
3 Odd Side Ales Classic American Lager
Beer Thousand
5 Dogfish Head
Bell's Octoberfest
4 Bell's Crafted as a flavorful session beer, Bell's Octoberfest Beer is perfect for a week-long wedding celebration in Germany or the start of the Michigan autumn. As with Bell's Lager Beer, Octoberfest spends a full six weeks maturing in the fermentation vessels. Unlike its cousin, Octoberfest trades in the assertive hop presence for a focus on a light caramel malt note, lending body without too much sweetness.
Big Heavy Lobster
3 Greenbush Brewing Company Honey lager with blueberries and lemon zest.
Big House Brown
4 Wolverine State Brewing Co It's a Brown LAGER, not an ale, so don't pay attention to the style above. This fall seasonal is made to celebrate that beautiful Ann Arbor institution -- football season in the Big House. Smooth, drinkable, delicious.
Bitburger Premium Pils
0 Bitburger Brauerei Th. Simon
Black Bavarian
4 Sprecher An intensely dark Kulmbacher style lager with superb malt complexity and distinctive flavors and aromas of coffee, caramel, and chocolate.
Black Diamond
0 Short's Brewing Co. Black Diamond is a deceptively light bodied lager despite its deep black color and soft brown lace. The creamy mouthfeel is enhanced by notable dark chocolate and espresso flavors from heavily roasted malts. A brief cocoa bitterness is finished crisp and clean.
Black Goat
7 Perrin Brewing Company This beer is aged in Woodford Bourbon Barrels, some of the most sought after bourbon barrels in the craft brew industry. We took the recipe for our Black Lager and doubled the ingredients. Forty days after the magic happened, the goat was birthed. Black Goat is a Double Black Lager, sure to please the harshest of critics.
Blackrocks Pilsner
3 Blackrocks Brewery With German malt, American hops and Lake Superior water, it's a crisp and refreshing nod to a European tradition with a distinct American disobedience.
Blocktoberfest
3 Atwater Block Octoberfest, a German tradition that celebrates harvest. Now Atwater carries on the tradition with our own special lager "Blocktoberfest". Brewed with 100% German malt for a rich taste and amber color.
Blue Goat Dopplebock
6 New Holland Blue Goat is a tribute to the perseverance and billy goat-toughness of those charged with the mission of bringing beer to the people. Many charismatic, resourceful people and countless pieces of quirky equipment have endured endless challenges to exceed humble expectations. The grit and stubborn determination of these “Blue Goats” are integral to all that is craft brewing and New Holland. Join us in raising a glass to the Blue Goats of our industry. Share a glass or two with a brewery worker and, with any luck, they’ll share a couple of priceless stories about the resilience of craft brewers and their breweries. Blue Goat Dopplebock is chestnut in color with a nutty malt profile from its signature Munich malt. A muted hop presence and smooth caramelized body culminate in a clean, dry finish.
Blue Paddle
0 New Belgium Brewing Co. Climb on in and grab a paddle. Our first foray into lagered beers, Blue Paddle Pilsener-Lager, is a Czech style pilsener with a refreshing crispness from noble hops and a rich, malty finish. ‘Blue Paddle’ refers to the implement our warehouse manager’s Grandma once used to lovingly paddle his a** when she caught him stealing sips of her beer. With more body than a traditional Belgian pils, Blue Paddle is reflective of Europe’s finest pilseners.
Blue Point Oktoberfest
3 Blue Point Originally brewed a couple hundred years ago to celebrate the betrothal of the Crown Prince of Bavaria, we’re helping keep the tradition alive by brewing it every fall for all of our royal/loyal followers. We continue the celebration by traditionally brewing this special malty amber lager in August and September. Blue Point Brewing’s Oktoberfest lager is stored cold for two months to ensure its distinct smooth flavor.
Blueberry Hill Lager
3 Boston Brewing Company A lager brewed with blueberries.
Bluewater
3 Wolverine State Brewing Co The concept for the Bluewater Light comes from founders Matt and Trevor, who wanted to offer the option of a lower calorie lager. At just 92 calories (!) not only is the Bluewater Light lower in calories than Wolverine Premium Lager it is also lighter bodied, with less residual malt sweetness and more highly carbonated to give a little extra “bite” when drinking. Don’t be fooled – light lagers are extremely difficult to get just right, especially on the small, craft brewing scale. This beer is a full member of the Lager Revolution.
Bock Tubock
0 Dragonmead
Brewmaster Double Bock
4 Boston Brewing Company A huge malt character Bock.
Brooklyn Lager
3 Brooklyn Brewery In the late 1800’s Brooklyn was one of the largest brewing centers in the country, home to more than 45 breweries. Lager beer in the “Vienna” style was one of the local favorites. It is amber-gold in color and displays a firm malt center supported by a refreshing bitterness and floral hop aroma. Caramel malts show in the finish. The aromatic qualities of the beer are enhanced by “dry-hopping”, the centuries-old practice of steeping the beer with fresh hops as it undergoes a long, cold maturation. The result is a wonderfully flavorful beer, smooth, refreshing and very versatile with food. Dry-hopping is largely a British technique, which we’ve used in a Viennese-style beer to create an American original.
Budweiser
1 Anheuser Busch Light and highly carbonated. Most of the taste comes from the carbonation.
Budweiser Light
0 Anheuser Busch More drinkable than Bud, and even closer to water and lower in alcohol.
Carnivora
5 Wolverine State Brewing Co Belgian IPL. Big Belgian character with big hops.
Castles of Yesterday
4 Short's Castles of Yesterday is a traditional Bavarian Maibock with a deep amber color and sweet malty aromatics. Initial flavors of caramel and toasted grain make way for an earthy hop bitterness that finishes dry and somewhat spicy.
Celebrator Doppelbock
5 Ayinger Privatbrauerei Franz Inselkammer KG Full-bodied and velvety from half a year's aging. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts alcohol subtle hops and dryness. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator arguably the best of its kind.
Centennial Pils
0 Batch
Cerveza Con Limon
3 New Holland Brewing Mexican-style lager with lime added post-fermentation.
Cerveza De Julie
0 Shorts
Cerveza de Julie
3 Short's Cerveza De Julie is a pale yellow Mexican Lager brewed with real lime. Delicate yeasty aromas gather quickly from the ample amount of carbonation in this lighter bodied beer style. Soft grain sweetness enhanced by unobtrusive lime qualities bring out a subtle snappy tartness, which turns mildly bitter before a crisp refreshing finish.
Cerveza Delray
3 Brew Detroit
Charkoota Rye (Rum Barrel-Aged)
6 New Holland Charkoota Rye is a Smoked Rye Dopplebock with a malty backbone of rye and four other malts, including malted barley smoked over cherry wood. Its smoke-forward body is balanced with tones of deep molasses and caramel, with a crisp, clean lager finish.
Chips And Salsa
5 Arbor Brewing Company Like nothing you’ve ever tasted. Brewed with corn flour, tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, onions, and salt, this beer is a fiesta in a glass. The base is a light lager and the salsa flavor is pronounced but well-integrated resulting in a deliciously unique and drinkable brew.
Citra Local's
4 Short's Citra Local’s still our light and very tasty lager, but with a fun new twist. Bursting with fresh grapefruit aromas and complimentary hop flavors are perceived within, but without any imparted bitterness. The light pilsen malt creates a soft and subtle flavor profile that finishes crisp and clean, once the initial hoppy perceptions subside.
Citrus Pilsner
0 Hideout Brewing Company
Cold Lampin
3 Original Gravity
Consecrator Dopplebock
6 Bell's Reddish brown in color with a mild hop profile, Consecrator Doppelbock is a well balanced, full bodied lager with hints of caramel and molasses in its smooth, malty finish. As with our other lager brands, Consecrator undergoes a lengthy lagering period. Unlike the 6 week profile of the other two brands, Consecrator experiences a full three months in the fermenting vessel, giving it an exceptionally smooth character.
Cornlaboration
4 Perrin Brewing Company/Oskar Blues Brewery A classic American Pilsner! Cornlaboration lager was born from the creative brewing mind meld of Perrin Brewing Company in Michigan and Oskar Blues Brewery in Colorado & North Carolina. This heady combination of corn, Full Pint malt, German hops and Denmark lager yeast compels cornstalks to high five in the field.
Corona
1 Grupo Modelo Citrus overtones dominate this imported lager. Great on a warm afternoon. Try it with lime or have it plain.
Cran-Orange West Side Wheat
3 Wolverine State Brewing Co Wolverine’s Westside Wheat with cranberry-orange
Crunchy Grooves
2 Short's Our organic pilsner
Czechvar
3 Brewery Budweiser Budvar / B.B.N.P. Budvar or the original budweiser in the Czech Republic. Lofty dense cloud like head that doesn't end. Crystal clear golden color. Balanced delicate aroma of hops and malt. Malty flavor accentuated by the wonderful Saaz hop taste. Finishes with a hint of bitterness not overwhelming but just right.
D Light Kolsch
2 Atwater Block Brewery Straw colored and light bodied with a crisp clean finish. Atwater carries on the long heritage of Detroit breweries by dedicating this creation to the "D".
Dark & Rye
4 Wolverine State Brewing Co Dark lager with rye

Dayslayer
4 Stone/Maine Deep in the darkest reaches exists an elite group of brewers formed in the image of chaos. Destined to ravage the earth, sowing bitterness upon the tongues of beer drinkers everywhere, the warrior brewers of Maine Beer Company and Stone Brewing have sharpened their axes and grown in might and fury, anticipating this day of reckoning. A swath of nobly-hopped damnation has been carved, eradicating the sun, yet lulling you into confidence with its soft golden hue. Day Slayer is here to destroy the weak and huddled masses, unleashing upon the world a mouth-shattering crescendo of palate destroying hops, fermented with the finest of Pilsner strains, delivering a beer as sharp as their blades.
Dead Goat Doppelbock
4 Saugatuck A rich, malty, dark ale with caramel, roasty chocolate and light fruity plum-like hints.
Decisions Are Hard
4 Wolverine State Brewing Co Life is full of tough decisions. One of the brewery’s late 2017 was whether or not to attempt to redefine, or augment, what a Pilsner can be. With all the unfiltered, crazy dry-hopping going on around the country, seemed only right that Wolverine do something outside of the box. Decisions are Hard uses a fundamental German Pils recipe but uses Flaked Oats to soften the body of the beer, and a dreamy and creamy haze. The standout aspect of this lager is the hopping. Using two often difficult to find hops, Callista and Arianna, DAH has a much subtler bitterness, fruitier hop flavor, and a profound herbally, dank aroma that is a wholly unique from typical German Noble hops. However, it still screams of the old world hops. Decisions are Hard is undoubtedly a new style of beer. However, once you try it, the decision to have one, is a no-brainer.
Detroit Dwarf
4 Old Nation Brewing Co. Inspired by the legendary “Nain Rouge”(French for Red Dwarf), our signature beer is full in flavor while remaining very balanced and crisp. It is our pride and pleasure to provide you with one of the finest Alt beers brewed in the United States.
Devil's Lettuce
4 Short's Devil’s Lettuce is a wet hopped India Pale lager brewed with fresh hops from Empire Hop Farms in Empire, MI. The aroma is full of citrus zest and subtle spice. Low malt flavors allow for forward hoppy attributes. These hoppy flavors range from fruity lemon to earthy grassiness. A clean lager finish amplifies the overall bitterness which resonates across the palate.
Dirtoir-Chatoe Rogue
5 Rogue Jet black in color with a tan head, medium to full bodied, deftly balanced, seamless dark roasted malt flavors with a smooth bitterness, lingering long finish.
Dissenter
4 Founders Dissenter is the first lager we’ve brewed since Noble Lager, a beer that hasn’t been in our production cycle for twelve years. Dissenter is our argument in favor of the potential for complex lagers, clocking in at 8.7% ABV and 70 IBUs. This beer is a departure from our other releases for a couple of reasons: All of the beers in our standard lineup are ales, which are fermented at warm temperatures, whereas lagers are fermented cold. Plus, Dissenter uses a different kind of yeast from other Founders beers. Test batches of the Imperial IPL were brewed using our pilot system and have been on tap in our taproom off and on throughout the past few months. The longer brewing process used for lagers gives this beer an exceptionally clean finish, allowing the clear beauty of the hops to shine.
District 16
3 Wolvering State Brewing Co This Vienna-style Amber Lager is a complex, smooth, malt-forward, and balanced lager. Formerly known as Wolverine Amber Lager, this brew pays homage to the Viennese brewers who pioneered this style.
District 16
3 Wolvering State Brewing Co This Vienna-style Amber Lager is a complex, smooth, malt-forward, and balanced lager. Formerly known as Wolverine Amber Lager, this brew pays homage to the Viennese brewers who pioneered this style.
DKML
6 Founders Here you have what could be the first malt liquor worthy of a glass. Typically a slighted style, we thought we would class it up with a stay in the wood and a healthy dose of dry-hopping. A huge hit of corn gives this one a smooth sweetness while its time spent aging in bourbon barrels will give you reason to share. Be warned: this one’s a pry-off, not a twist-off.
Dogtoberfest Marzen
4 Flying Dog Brewed with 100% imported German ingredients, it will cut spice while pulling out sweetness. Flavor notes: Full-bodied caramel sweet with a light toasted and crisp, clean finish Pairs with: Mexican and Pepper Jack cheeses; sweet Asian sauces; spiced desserts; German foods
Doppel Sticky
0 Lagunitas Brewing Co. This fruity, estery double altbier is brewed in the traditional-ish style of the Doppelsticke, which is the widely known secret Germanic-esque strong ale. Like it’s California Common counterpart, we fermented this ale at a lower temperature to pull out the sulphur-y bite from the yeast, then dry-hopped it with some dank, Sticky hops, including some brand-spankin’-new Enigma hops from the great Down Under!
Double Skull Doppelbock
5 Epic Brewing Originally brewed as liquid bread by fasting monks, Double Skull Doppelbock is rich and filling. Crisp and delicious for the winter months.
Double Sticke Alt
0 Kuhnhenn Brewing Co. Dark Brown in color, this Northern German Ale acts more like a lager than an Ale. It has subtle malty and grainy notes on the nose, with no hop aromas. It has an extremely smooth and balanced flavor. It is light to medium bodied despite it's dark appearance.
Drag Me To Helles
0 Wolverine State Brewing Co. Our take on the Maibock, a traditional spring beer in Germany. This beer is characterized by its spicy hop aroma and rich malt flavors that are both refreshing and perfect for the onset of spring. We brew our Maibock to hit the top end of color and hoppiness for the style, bringing you a complex and yet easy drinking German-style lager. We use all German malt and 100% German Hallertau hops. Prost!
Dundee's Honey Brown
2 Dundee Brewing Co. A dark pilsner-style beer with remarkable balance. Offers a deep golden color smooth taste and just a hint of honey on the palate. A perfect choice for those who appreciate a true lager.
Einbecker Doppelbock
5 Einbecker Based on a doppelbock from 1878, this beer is a deep garnet red with an intense malt character and a firm bitterness in the finish. The perfect blending of nine different malts combined with the generous use of noble hops create a complex malt backbone with a sturdy bitterness to balance out the sweetness. The first beer in our draft only Anniversary Series.
Einbecker Mai-Ur-Bock
3 Einbecker This famous specialty beer with its refreshing taste is produced every Spring.
Eliot Ness
4 Great Lakes Brewing Deep Amber red color with a fragrant malt aroma. Flavorful notes of rich carmelized malt and noble hop flavors harmonize on the plalate leading to a crisp clean finish. Named after one of Cleveland's most respected safety directors who frequented the brewpub's bar during his tenure from 1935-1941 and according to popular legend was responsible for the bullet holes still evident today.
Euchre Pilsner
3 Arbor Brewing Company Our traditional northern German-style Pilsner is brewed with all imported German Tettnang hops for a classic crisp, dry, full-flavored Pilsner character. It is a deep golden, medium-bodied lager. Crisp and clean with a mildly salty noble hop bitterness.
Eurotrash Pilz
0 Southern Tier Brewing Co. This beer may have a cheeky name, but don’t be fooled; it is modeled after fine European pilsners to be light and crisp. Aromatic Noble hop varieties, 2-row malted barley and European style pilsner malt contribute to this pale beer’s smooth character.
Fassinator
0 Goose Island Beer Co. Blonde Dopplebock
Fastenbier
6 Aecht Schlenkerla Original Schlenkerla Lentbeer is an unfiltered smokebeer, brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. Bottom-fermenting yeast gives the reddish brown lentbeer a natural cloudiness. Its smokey aroma is already noticeable in the smell, combined with a fine hoppy note. In the drink the full-bodied, highly drinkable lentbeer shows its strong malty flavor, rounded up with the smokey taste and a light bitterness. Due to the nourishing yeast, the Original Schlenkerla Lentbeer has the "Brotzeit already included" (German word for afternoon snack).

0 Short's
Glissade Golden Bock
3 Sierra Nevada As winter begins its slide toward the sunny days of spring, we bring you Glissade Golden Bock to help you enjoy the ride. Glissade is a remarkably mellow take on the traditional spring bock. With restrained sweetness, we emphasize subtle malt flavor, balanced against delicate aromas of spicy and floral European hops. This complex balance helps Glissade slide across the palate—bracing us against the last cold nights of winter, while its bright golden color turns our thoughts toward spring.
Good Chit Pilsner
0 Rogue Ales Good Chit Pilsner is made with Rogue Farm barley that we Floor-Malted in small batches. Floor Malting is an old fashioned, 8 day process that includes steeping, germination, raking, roasting, bagging and hands-on love 24 hours a day. "Chit" refers to the start of the rootlets that emerge from the embryo of the kernel once steeping is complete and germination begins.
Grandes Lagos
4 Great Lakes Colorful hibiscus flowers bloom against a picturesque malt backdrop in this refreshing cerveza from south of the border (of Canada, that is).
Great Lakes Oktoberfest
4 Great Lakes An amber lager with rich malt flavor balanced by fragrant noble hops.
Green Giant Organic Imperial Pilsner
4 Arbor Brewing Company Brewed with 100% organic ingredients and weighing in at 7.6% ABV and 67 IBUs, this is definitely NOT your father’s pilsner. It has all of the big bold flavors you expect from craft beer while retaining the quenching drinkability of a pilsner. Brewed with bottom-fermenting yeast and traditional German noble hops for a flavorful brew with a crisp, clean flavor profile, medium malt body and a dry finish with a slightly salty character
Green Thumb
3 Wolverine State Brewing Co Like Gulo Gulo, but smaller! A brewer favorite, this beer required every bit of our team’s knowledge and experience with lower-alcohol/high hoppiness brewing. Oliver worked hard to pick the right barleys to lend the foundation for the fruity, citrusy American hops that are packed in to this lager. With its distinct flavors and aromas of pear, coupled with its eager to please bitterness, this beer is our one-of-a-kind celebration of springtime.
Grolsch
2 Grolsch Bierbrouwerij Thin on the palette-slightly fruity crisp and dry. Perhaps the most recognizable bottle (swing-top) in the world.
Gulo Cubed
4 Wolverine State Brewing Co Truly the next stage of evolution in lager. The biggest and burliest of our IPLs, this mutant high gravity brew is literally three times the Gulo Gulo recipe! We had to make a few changes to fit all the malt in our brew house and get a little creative with our hopping to get it all in there but man is it worth the effort. Gulo Cubed, despite the massive amount hops, actually drinks even more smoothly than the original Gulo Gulo thanks to the extra grain. In the end we get a huge, hoppy lager up to its fangs in flavor.
Gulo Noir
5 Wolverine State Brewing Co Think Gulo Gulo, with a dark side. Gulo Noir is the crown jewel for those IPA lovers with a weakness for stouts and porters. This beer starts with Pale malt from Canada and then uses roasted wheat, roasted barley, and a few secret malt additions to give us the perfect platform for this deep, dark, hopped up lager. Beyond the wicked grain bill we carefully layered Cluster, Zythos, and Citra hops throughout this onyx-colored brew, which bring you a memorable and lasting bond of roastiness and hoppiness.
Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest
3 Hacker Pschorr When Ludwig I, the Crown Prince of Bavaria, was to celebrate his wedding in Munich in 1810, he decided it was an occasion for all of Bavaria to celebrate. He commissioned Joseph Pschorr, then the brewmaster of the Hacker-Pschorr brewery, among other Munich brewers, to develop special brews to commemorate the occasion. The beer was so good that the party lasted for days and Oktoberfest beer was born.
Harpoon Bohemian Pilsner
2 Harpoon Harpoon Bohemian Pilsner follows the age-old tradition of extended lagering to help produce a smooth yet complex beer. The blend of European malts is balanced with Tettnang and Saaz hops to create a slightly malty beer with a crisp finish.
Harpoon Octoberfest
3 Harpoon Harpoon Octoberfest is a malty tribute to fall, balanced by a gentle hop bitterness. In keeping with tradition, it is a Marzen-style beer, brewed with abundant quantities of Munich, Chocolate, and Pale malts. Those malts provide a solid, full body and create the beer’s deep color. It is a rich, flavorful beer.
Hello Old Friend
3 Wolverine State Brewing Co Helles Lager
High & Dry Rye
4 Wolverine State Brewing Co Rye Pilsner! This lager draws a nice spicy bite from the rye used in the brew, and it's complemented by spicy Czech Saaz hops.
Hofbrau Oktoberfestbier
2 Hofbrau The Munich Beer Festival, or Oktoberfest, is an event of superlatives - it’s the largest popular festival in the world, staging in the beer metropolis of Munich. Millions of visitors from all over the world flock along every year to enjoy its very special atmosphere. For this occasion, Hofbräu brews a rich, full-bodied beer which goes down ideally with traditional Bavarian cuisine. With its deliciously bitter taste and alcoholic content of 6.3% volume, Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier is as special as the Beer Festival itself.
Hooligan
0 North Peak
Hoppy Lager-Beer Camp
0 Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. Last summer we teamed up with San Diego’s Ballast Point for a hop-head twist on a crisp lager. We remixed this encore which is loaded with whole cone hops in the brew kettle and in our Hop Torpedo to deliver a bold aroma backed by smooth malt flavor.
Hoss Rye Lager
4 Great Divide Brewing HOSS is based on the Märzen lagers of Germany. Rich, layered malt notes, with hints of cherry and dark fruits, dominate, while the unique addition of rye imparts a slightly earthy, spicy character. Hoss finishes crisp and dry, and its brilliant red-orange color is a toast to the sunsets that make the perfect backdrop for this beer.
Howlin' Chinaski
4 Short's Golden pour with slight haziness. White head. Aroma of crackers, pale malt, mild leafy hops. Flavor is crisp, light hay, leafy and grassy hop presence. Strong, dry malt notes with nice hop finish.
Hubertus Bock
4 Hacker Pschorr Known in the United States for its Oktoberfest, Hacker-Pschorr is reaching across the pond with this first of four beers earmarked for the American market. Think of this golden-hued initial offering as a “kissing cousin” to the Maibock, with a clean malt aroma, a medium effervescence that carries the underlying sweetness and just enough earthy, grassy hop aromas and flavors to keep that sweetness in check. Rich and relatively robust, but still ending crisp and clean, this version is perhaps a bit more assertively hopped, which should make American beer fans happy.
Humdinger
4 Magic Hat A limited release Imperial Pilsner featuring a smooth malt body and bold hop aroma, finishing with a subtle warmth that brings to mind the rolling green hillsides of Summer
Humulus Lager
4 The Bruery Humulus Lager is an extremely aromatic, hoppy beer, with citrus, pine, and intense herbal characteristics. We brew this beer with more than 3 pounds of hops per BBL, and it shows. We also use rice, a typically despised ingredient in beer, to lighten the body and make it more true to the American lager style.
Hunger in the Hunt
6 Wolverine State Brewing Co Its fierce, bright golden color comes from Canadian pale and pils malts, and you’ll catch the scents of American aroma hops and layered fruit as if they’re carried on a strong, Northerly spring wind leading you on your hunt. Bitey hop notes come from a flawless combination of Warrior, Chinook, Cascade, and Columbus hops, before mellowing out into subtle fruity notes. As the sun begins to warm our corner of the planet once more, this beer will provide the perfect big, bright, punchy, and charged-up complement.

Kulmbacher Eisbock
5 Kulmbacher The ice bock, also known as "Bavarian", owes its discovery to a coincidence. According to the chronicles of the Kulmbacher brewery, some time around 1900 an apprentice forgot on a cold winter day to carry two barrels of bock beer into the brewery cellar. The barrels stayed outside, were covered by ice and snow and weren't discovered until the following spring. The barrels had burst and the apprentice was reprimanded. But the carelessness was a stroke of luck because under the thick ice coat, a bock beer extract remained, strong tasting and high in alcoholic content. Even if the dark, tasty specialty is not produced in this spectacular way anymore, the chance that gave birth to this beer became a tradition. Today this beer rarity is brewed in a modern brewing and freezing process, but the incomparable taste is still the same and can always be enjoyed in winter months.

Since then, its own malt bill has been developed so the good people of Michigan can have access to MMMKAY even when Aww Jeah hasn’t been brewed. The initial fragrances are of bold citrus fruit; guava, orange, and lemon. As the head settles, the aromas shift to fresh evergreen accents. Indicated by the light body and pale yellow appearance, the focus of the beer is on hops, rather than malt. An array of enjoyable American hop flavors shock the palate ranging from slightly fruity to an intense earthy pine. A bold bitterness dominates the finish, enhanced by the clean unobtrusive nature of its lager origin.

Tongue Tied Cherry Saison
0 Rochester Mills Beer Co. Inspired by Head Brewer, Bill Wamby’s award winning saison (farmhouse ale) recipe, Tongue Tied Cherry Saison (6.2 percent alcohol-by-volume) is a traditional Belgian-style saison ale brewed with over a thousand pounds of both tart and sweet Michigan cherries. An unfiltered, slightly creamy ale with a pale reddish amber color and nice luscious white head. The distinctiveness of unmalted wheat is enhanced by the addition of lemon, orange peel and coriander, which provides herbal spiciness to this refreshing, pure Michigan summer ale. Slightly fruity and very refreshing, with a subtle tartness and tremendous drinkability.
Torpedo Pilsner
3 Sierra Nevada/Firestone Walker Brewing Co. Torpedo Pilsner ditches the traditional German “noble” hops and heads south of the equator for inspiration. With a traditional golden malt body, this “kiwi” pils features intense fruity and floral New Zealand-grown Motueka and Southern Cross hops, making this an alternate and delicious take on the classic pilsner.
Tropic Of Thunder
4 Stone Imagine you set sail for a three hour tour. Let's say from the port of Escondido (work with us here). The weather started getting rough. You're tiny ship (but not lunch, thankfully) was tossed. Long story short: You're marooned on a remote island somewhere near the Tropic of Thunder. The good news is that the Capt. Of the S.S. Stone and her brewing kit were among the small cast of colorful characters that survived the rough voyage with you. Mainstays Citra & Mosaic along with newcomer Cashmere hops are joined by their juicy tropical aromas of citrus, pineapple and coconut (try stringing all that together in a catchy tune). The rescue ship will find you all soon enough. For now, set aside the non-working cell phone and lack of social media (again, work with us here), kick back and revel in your moment of tropical island Lagoon serenity.
Tundra King
4 Wolverine State Brewing Co. Piney, citrusy, and dank with West Coast hop profile.
Twisted Cain
0 Short's Brewing Co. Twisted Cain is an American Black Ale that pours black in color with red hues passing through the edges of the glass, topped with a creamy off-white head. This medium bodied brew leads with a pleasant roasted aroma, before a sweet dark fruitiness, that ends in slightly bitter and dry finish.
Up In Smoke
4 Latitude 42 Smells of smoked ham alongside soft notes of lager yeast. Tastes like it smells, but a bit yeastier. Mouthfeel is medium light-bodied.
Veltin Pilsner
3 Brauerei C & A Veltins The beer pours clean with a pale golden body and a white pillowing head. Subtle malt and grassy-nessfill the nose. The first sip bursts with carbonation and there is a very balanced soft note of malt and hops. The sweet malt slowly melds to a dry, clean, crisp finish that leaves the mouth begging for one more drink.
Verano
3 Wolverine State Brewing Co This summer seasonal is our take on a classic Mexican-style Amber Lager. Best enjoyed with a lime. Salud!
Victory Festbier
3 Victory Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February
Violin Monster
0 Arbor Brewing
Voice Of The Turtle
3 Witch's Hat 1984 Style Pilsner. Voice Of The Turtle is a hop forward, citrusy and crisp Pilsner. The perfect companion for any day, whether it's a double header or a rain delay. So don't stand there like a house by the side of the road and watch it go by!
Voodoo Vater
6 Atwater Dopplebock This one is black and sweet! Its malty character derives from two caramel malts, along with Munich malt, to create the smoothest high gravity beer.
Wandering Pelican
6 Great Lakes Brewing/Cigar City Brewing The name Wandering Pelican pays homage to a Brown Pelican who made the journey from Florida to Ohio's Lake Erie Coast during the summer of 2013. Swapping saltwater for fresh, feeding on shad instead of mullet, this welcome stranger made Lake Erie his home for several months and became an unlikely local celebrity. Both beers will honor our courageous friend who wandered off the beaten path to find his home. Black Lager; Medium-bodied and smooth with smoky, roasted tones
Weihenstephaner Festbier
3 Weihenstephan A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!
Who You Callin' Wussie
4 Stone (Arrogant Brewing) Aroma is dominated by crackery malt, with floral tones and a hint citrus adding depth. Flavor is very floral and earthy throughout, with a very bitter, resiny, earthy finish. Light citrus emerges late.
Widow Maker Black Beer
3 Keweenaw Brewing Company Don't let its looks deceive you. Clean and smooth, easy on the hops and easy on the palate; this light bodied ale has a surprising depth of malt flavors with pleasant hints of a smoky molasses.
Winter Bock
4 Atwater This malty, sweet, caramel colored German bock beer is brewed with imported malt and hops.
Wolverine Dark
3 Wolverine State Brewing Co. A smooth maltiness balanced by a crisp feel on your tongue without any of the chunky chewy taste that some dark beers have.
